Katie has been part of the Shine Solar team as an Energy Consultant since the spring of 2018. She burst onto the scene with a big smile on her face and an upbeat personality that continues to have a positive effect on not only our office but each and every customer she meets with! Dautis Smith
Dautis joined the Shine Solar team in the fall of 2017 with a degree in Business Communications from the University of Arkansas – Fayetteville. He and his wife live in Fayetteville with their 2 kids and 2 dogs. His zest for life has him spending almost all of his free time outdoors with his friends and family and there is never an adventure or challenge he would turn down! My experience at Shine Solar has been better than I could have imagined. I have been in sales for over 10 years and have sold in multiple industries. Having never sold solar before I was a little skeptical of the success I would have. 

The coaching here at Shine Solar is probably the thing that has impressed me the most. I can call anytime and ask for help on anything and it never feels like I am being a burden to anyone. That means a lot.

Frequently Asked Questions
Am I an employee or 1099 Contractor with Shine?
Everyone who works with Shine Solar is a W-2 employee. We do not sub-contract any of our sales or installations to 3rd party companies.
Does the company provide leads or do I have to find my own business?
Although we strongly encourage all of our people to refer their friends, family and contacts to Shine Solar, we also understand the importance of advertising to the general public. All of our Renewable Energy Consultants receive exclusive sales leads on a weekly basis.
Where are you located?
Our  home office is in Bentonville, AR near the Walmart Home Office.

Are Renewable Energy Consultants required to travel to their appointments?
Yes. About half of our customers are comfortable doing business exclusively over the phones. The other half require a personal visit to the prospects property to review a solar proposal and answer questions. Our service area ranges from Fayettville, AR to the south up to Springfield, MO to the North.
How often do you pay your employees?
We do payroll bi-weekly. On the 1st and 15th of the month.
Does your company offer benefits?
Full health, dental, and vision insurance is available after 60 days of employment.
How long has your company been in business and are you profitable?
In February, 2017 we celebrated our 1-year anniversary. And yes, (fortunately) we are a healthy, profitable business serving our customers in Arkansas and Missouri.
What incentives does the company offer to its sales people?
Incentives are offered daily, weekly, monthly and annually for both team and individual performance. Just recently multiple sales representatives and their spouses won trips to NYC and the Caribbean! We love to work hard and play even harder!
